This is an international competition recognizing outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication.

- Social Media Site – Contest Promotion – Platinum Award: Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Shootout. This is the only LPGA tournament in Texas and a must-see event – attracting the world’s 144 top female golfers and an international television broadcast on the Golf Channel. Cooksey managed media relations, advertising, community engagement and social media, which included creating an online contest to drive attendance.
AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations and freelance professionals. AMCP manages recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
