North Texas-based public relations firm Cooksey Communications has added Mallorie Anderson to its team as an account supervisor. In this capacity, Anderson supports Cooksey’s clients in the commercial real estate, professional services and public sectors.

Prior to joining Cooksey, Anderson launched her career in motorsports as a media relations coordinator before moving into the agency setting, where she developed and coordinated numerous public relations and marketing campaigns. Over the past seven years, Anderson developed strong skills in strategic communications, media relations and crisis communications for various industries including nonprofit, franchise development, small business and civic organizations.

Anderson serves as the public service chair for the American Advertising Federation (AAF)’s Fort Worth chapter and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She graduated with a B.A. in communications from The University of Texas at Arlington.
