Bethany joined Cooksey Communications in June 2023 after graduating from Baylor University with a B.A. in journalism, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business administration. Prior to joining Cooksey, she gained experience at three PR and marketing agencies in Dallas and Waco, where she enhanced her skills in social media, copywriting and media relations.

In many ways, Bethany has been surrounded by PR professionals her entire life, with two parents who have worked in the industry since Bethany was born. Growing up, Bethany always knew she wanted to pursue a career in PR, working alongside her mom and dad on projects across various industries and fueling her growing passion for the ever-changing PR field.

Since joining Cooksey, Bethany has worked with clients in the professional services, commercial real estate and government sectors.

What inspires you?
Helping others. I’ve always been the friend whom people come to for advice in all situations, good or bad. It brings me joy when I’m able to help friends and family.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Baking and traveling to new places while making memories with my family.

What can’t you do without?
My incredible family, our dog Bailey, the beach and a nice cold glass of Dr. Pepper!

Learning about new industries and helping clients reach their communication goals. Being part of a successful team like Cooksey inspires me to achieve my best work.
