Joel Rowe

Creative Director

With a diverse design background, Joel is a creative jack-of-all-trades. He’s passionate about creating brand experiences that delight the eyes as much as the mind. He thoroughly enjoys pairing unique ideas with compelling design to engage both clients and their stakeholders.

Whether for business-to-business or consumer-facing markets, he has created and managed a variety of print, digital and web projects. In addition to working for himself, Joel has worked at companies such as Texas Instruments, Travelocity, Animal Supply Company and ReachLocal.

Joel studied communication design at Texas A&M University-Commerce and earned certifications in user experience (UX) design and marketing from Southern Methodist University. 

What inspires you?
Learning from and about people who have overcome creative, spiritual or personal challenges so that I, in turn, may have the opportunity to help and encourage others.

Favorite hobbies?
Design, photography, painting, illustration – and also reading books about them. Lifting weights. Playing and watching tennis. Football. Reading about the Bible and apologetics.

What can’t you do without?
Time with my wife and daughters. My relationship with God. Chocolate chip cookies and homemade pumpkin pie.

Why do you enjoy design?
Design blends creative and logical thinking. The process of crafting an idea or message into something tangible to provoke, inspire, inform, encourage or simply “look cool” is immensely rewarding.
